Andrew Dutton (Derbyshire County Council) is the NAWRA rep for the East Midlands.
Andrew is part of the newly-formed Training and Social Policy team at Derbyshire Welfare Rights.
He began advice work in 1986, at the CAB in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, then Harlow Advice Centre (1988-2001), Hertfordshire Money Advice Unit (2001-6) and a few years as an independent trainer before joining Derbyshire in 2011.
Away from work it’s music, books, dogs and a home life that helps him to forget the ravages of Universal Credit. He also has a side-career as a novelist, with 5 books published to date.
